FY326 is 5th best drone under $50 on our list, it’s an affordable Syma X5C clone with longer range than the X5C itself. Very easy to maneuver and able to resist wind, it is ideal for beginners. Does not come with a camera included, but it has enough lifting power for you to attach a standard camera (SJ4000 for example). One of the most impressive things about the FY326 is the range, able to fly to a distance of 100 meters, it tops even some quadcopters within the $100 price range. It does not have any features besides the common 6-axis gyro, LED lights and 360º stunt, but what more can we ask of a $20 drone? If you are just starting on a low budget and you want a drone without a camera, this is definitely the quad you want to get.

You have probably never heard of Yifei XS-1.1, fortunately for you, we at Drones Globe are always prepared to inform you on the best deals of the market. Yifei XS-1.1 is a mini quadcopter that excels in its speed, able to hit high yaw rates, becoming very fast (about the same speed as Hubsan X4). Its yaw varies between three speed levels, progressing very nicely from one to another. On top of that, another important characteristic about this quadcopter is the maximum control distance. XS1-1 can fly as far as 120 meters from its pilot. A great range when compared to other same price and even higher priced quadcopters.

JJRC is no newbie in the drone industry, this company already became known for same great products, and 1000A is one of those. Very stable and easy to maneuver, it’s also a quiet quadcopter (mainly due to its slow yaw rate leading to less noise from the motors). Flips (360º stunts) are smooth and fun to perform. It shares the same protocol of WLToys V2X2 series. Consequently it is compatible with V202, V222, V262, V272, JXD 385 and 388, UFO X30, X30V, F180, L6036 and L6038 transmitters.

Another quadcopter you have probably never heard of. A successful clone of the Syma X11C (MT 9916 has better pitch and LED lights than X11). Moontop MT 9916 is a great micro quadcopter which comes in three versions: one with a 2MP camera, a 0.3MP camera or no camera at all. Very stable, it can be flown both indoor and outdoor, as it will resist common wind force. Although it lacks a long control distance, considering it has to power a camera and can stay in air during 6 to 8 minutes, indeed it is a great drone. Also, charges very quickly and it can be plugged in to your computer via USB

If you ask me, this is the best drone under $50. JXD 509V design resembles the Yuneec Q500, which already is a great plus. Not your average looking drone. But it is not the design that makes it stand out from the rest, it’s the features. For such a low price quadcopter, JXD 509V packs some great features, such as the One Key Automatic Return, with just the push of a button on 509V remote, the drone will come back to where it began flight. Another feature, and one of the most recent to be introduced into the low budget quadcopters, the Altitude Holder. This function will let the drone steadily be fixed on air, without pilot’s input, allowing you to focus on camera recording or photographing. Last feature is the already known headless mode. You can acquire the 2MP camera version or 0.3. Such features and camera quality compensate the somewhat below average flight time it has (around 6 minutes, depending if the camera is being used or not). Currently in the market you won’t find a cheaper quadcopter with these features. A nice buy!
Note: There is a more expensive version of this quadcopter with FPV (real time video transmission) the 509G.
Conclusion
Now that we have briefly reviewed each of the five quadcopters on our Top 5 Drones Under $50 list, it is your turn to pick which best fits your needs. Are you going for camera quality? Speed and maneuverability? Perhaps you want a more simple drone but with a wider control distance and flight time.
