10- FY326
10th place in our list of top 10 quads under $100 goes to FY326, the cheapest and yet longest distance quadcopter. FY326 is a simple drone, it does not have many features but it is a great beginner friendly quadcopter with a control distance of 150 meters. It is one of the most sold low-cost drones at the moment, due to its high stability and the power to carry a 808 or mobius camera (it has to be attached, the 326 itself does not support a camera).

9- HongTai F803C
The HT F803C is one of the cheapest and best performance micro quadcopters you can acquire at the moment. Not only it has an amazing 100 meter range distance (bigger than any other low-cost quadcopter this size) but it comes with a 1MP unmountable camera, which again is unusual for low-cost micro quadcopters. Consequently it has a low flight time of only 6 minutes, on the other hand only takes 30 minutes to recharge its 3.7V 350mAh battery. The battery is built-in and like the camera not removable. Perfect for indoor flights or to take on the park when is not windy.

8- Syma X5C1
Syma X5C1 is the upgraded version of the X5C one of Syma’s greatest successes. Ready-to-fly out of the box, a highly recommend cheap quadcopter and one of the most bought in the market. Its 7x20mm four motors give him enough power to transport small lightweight objects when the camera is removed. The camera is 2MP and as mentioned it is easily unmountable, not using it increases the quadcopter flight time from 6 to 8 minutes. This is due to the X5C1 using battery power from its 3.7V 500mAh to both maintain the quad and the camera. Perfect for indoor and outdoor flight. This is great pick for all of you looking for an affordable but still quality drone.

7- DM007 NightHawk
The DM007 (also known as GW007) is one of the better looking quadcopters and it comes with a complete package (including 2GB Micro-SD card) great for any beginner. Its peculiar height (between a mini and nano size) and black color earned it the name of “spy” quadcopter. It is not one of the most stable quadcopters, but once you get the hang of it, on maximum yaw rate it becomes very fast. Its motors are a bit noisy on high-rates. The frame is very durable but the 7.4V 380mAh battery sometimes falls from its case if the quad falls from a big altitude. DM007 has a control distance of 70 meters but without the camera the range increases significantly. Although it comes advertised as both indoor and outdoor flyer, for beginners indoor flights are not advised until you are able to fully control it.

6- MJX X400
MJX X400 greatest feature is the FPV (First Person View) Real Time Transmission. This is done using a WiFi FPV camera C4005 0.3 megapixels that connects to your iOS or Android smartphone through an app. Enabling you to see directly on your phone screen what the X400 is recording. For a drone of this price it is an amazing feature. Due to its powerful 3.7V 750mAh battery it is still capable of a 8 minute flight time while recording and transmitting FPV. The cheapest FPV full experience.

5- Syma X8C
Syma is a drone brand known to us all, their previous successful products have gained them a high credibility in the industry. One of the most recent products is the X8C, a large quad aesthetically resembling the DJI Phantom. It is a somewhat heavy quadcopter, 601g with the battery and camera installed. To withstand all this weight, X8C has big propellers and uses a large 2S 2000mAh battery to power its brushed motors. All this power gives him a 12 minute flight duration and a flight distance of up to 200 meters. As expected of a quadcopter this size it is ultra stable, wind resistant and has durable shell. Packed with a 2MP low-performance camera, it flies better without it, a mobius or 808 camera is better instead. To conclude, Syma X8C is definitely one of the the best cheap camera drones.

4- XK Alien X250-B
The FPV upgraded version of Alien X250. X250-B is a neat quadcopter with a different design to what we are used to see. It comes with its own 2 megapixels camera, good quality footage. FPV (real time video) transmission is displayed directly in your mobile device through a free application available for both Android and iOS. This connection is done via WiFi (the drone provides its own WiFi hotspot). This app also functions as a remote control, through which pilot can control the aircraft. On the other hand, if you prefer the regular RC remote, Alien X250-B package also comes with its own 2.4 Ghz controller. Therefore you have a choice. The 3.7V 800mAh 20C Li-po battery powers up to 12 minutes of flight time. Besides that, X250-B has a control range between 150 to 200 meters.

3- Pioneer JXD 509V
Here we are, the top 3 best quadcopters under 100$ currently in the market. In third place is the amazing Pioneer JXD 509V! Packed with great features, more than any other same price drone. Additionally, it comes with a VGA module camera, decent image quality but not the 2MP advertised in the package. The camera can tilt 30º angle, allowing different points of view. 509V only has 80 meter maximum control distance, which is the only negative side of it, however the features make up for it. The 3.7V 600mAh battery powers up to 10 minutes of flight time. If want a good quadcopter with useful features this is it!
